Chocolate Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 C gluten-free old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 C coconut oil
  • 1/2 C maple syrup
  • 1/4 C cocoa
  • 3/4 C coconut flakes
  • 1/2 C chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 C sliced almonds
  • 1/3 C dried blueberries
  • 1/3 C dried cherries

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 300F
  • In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients. In a small bowl, stir together all of the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir well.
  • Spread out the mixture evenly onto 2 rimmed baking sheets. Bake for 35-40 minutes, stirring once or twice until pale golden. Set aside to cool completely, then stir in the dried fruit, if you are adding some.
  • Store in airtight containers.
  • Serve with milk alternative and fresh berries
