Baked Sweet Potato Tots



  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 C gluten free bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Sauce for Tots (optional)

  • 1 large avocado
  • Juice from one lime
  • 1/4 C plain goats milk yogurt
  • 1/4 C coconut milk (or milk of choice: almond, cashew etc)
  • Handful of cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red chili pepper flakes
  • black pepper to taste



  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake sweet potatoes in foil for 45 minutes or until you are able to easily pierce through potato with a knife.
  • Let cool and peel potatoes.
  • Place peeled potatoes into a mixing bowl and add bread crumbs and seasonings. Mash everything together.
  • Form into “tot” shapes and place on baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until tots are brown and crispy on the edges.


  • Place all ingredients into a blender until thick and creamy.
